Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 10,000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Create hybrid quantum-classical optimization frameworks for enterprise clients
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers
- Secure patents for novel quantum algorithms and system architectures
- Partner with NASA and DARPA on quantum cryptography initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates through our industry-academia fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm design experience with published Nature/Science papers
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or Microsoft Quantum Development Kit
- Proficiency in low-level quantum hardware control systems
- Demonstrated success in quantum error correction implementations
- Strong background in topological quantum computing frameworks
- Clearance for DOE quantum research initiatives preferred
