Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues for end-users in a timely manner.
- Customer Assistance: Provide exceptional technical support via phone, email, and in-person, acting as a primary point of contact for IT inquiries.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Network Support: Support local area network (LAN) connectivity and troubleshoot basic network connectivity problems.
- Onboarding: Assist in the setup of new employee workstations and software access.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency in Windows and macOS operating systems, and basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Flexibility: Ability to work part-time hours (20-30 hours per week) with the potential for overtime during peak periods.
