Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 Support: Respond to incoming technical inquiries via phone, email, and chat with a focus on speed and accuracy.
- Troubleshoot Systems: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for clients.
- Customer Education: Guide users through technical processes and provide clear instructions to prevent future issues.
- System Maintenance: Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations and peripherals.
- Documentation: Log all support tickets, resolutions, and system updates in our CRM database.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT department to escalate complex issues and improve internal processes.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT or related field is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience in technical support, help desk, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows and Mac OS, basic networking knowledge, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Availability: Must be available to work part-time hours, including some weekends or evenings as required.
- Problem Solver: Self-motivated individual with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
