We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time IT Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Minneapolis, MN. Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory and ensure accurate asset tracking for the department.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of new workstations, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Respond to and resolve service tickets in a timely manner using our ticketing system (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
- Collaborate with the Senior Engineering team to implement process improvements for IT operations.
- Conduct regular system checks and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Help Desk, Technical Support, or IT Assistant role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft Office Suite, and Active Directory.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
