Responsibilities
- Oversee 10-15 night shift team members, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation
- Coordinate with day shift supervisors for seamless operational transitions
- Train new hires on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
- Investigate and resolve operational issues with minimal disruption
- Prepare daily shift reports and performance metrics
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and immediate reporting of malfunctions
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with night shift oversight
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
