Responsibilities
- Oversee 15+ healthcare staff during overnight shifts, ensuring compliance with medical protocols and safety standards
- Manage patient care coordination and emergency response procedures during non-business hours
- Conduct hourly rounds to monitor facility operations and address immediate operational needs
- Lead team huddles and provide real-time coaching to overnight clinical and support staff
- Document incident reports and operational metrics using electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with day-shift leadership for seamless care transitions and handover processes
- Implement quality improvement initiatives specific to overnight care delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years healthcare supervision experience with night shift leadership background
- Current RN, LPN, or CNA license in Tennessee (or comparable healthcare certification)
- Advanced knowledge of HIPAA compliance and JCAHO standards
- Strong conflict resolution skills with crisis management certification preferred
- Proficient in electronic health record systems (Epic or Cerner experience)
- Ability to make critical decisions independently during low-staffing periods
- Valid Tennessee driver's license and reliable transportation for facility emergencies
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays as needed
