Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency/ICU settings with advanced life support protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with 100% accuracy
- Monitor vital signs and interpret diagnostic tests to adjust care plans
- Document patient progress in electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient transitions
- Mentor new staff during orientation periods
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN candidates with 5+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (current)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/ER experience
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
