Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital sign checks, and preliminary assessments
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor treatments
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) and documentation accurately
- Administer medications and injections per provider protocols
- Prepare exam rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Coordinate patient education and discharge instructions
- Support weekend clinic operations and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts, 7am-7pm)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
- Basic knowledge of HIPAA compliance and infection control
- CPR/BLS certification required
