As a Night Shift Supervisor, you'll lead high-stakes security operations while maintaining client relationships and ensuring protocol compliance. This role offers unparalleled growth opportunities for motivated professionals ready to excel in overnight environments.
Responsibilities
- Oversee 10+ security personnel during overnight operations at tech campuses
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents within 5 minutes
- Conduct daily inspections of premises and document findings via digital reporting tools
- Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents
- Train new hires on security protocols and emergency response procedures
- Manage shift schedules and personnel deployment using workforce management software
- Submit comprehensive shift reports to senior management before dawn
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years security/supervisory experience or equivalent military/law enforcement background
- Valid California Guard Card and firearm permit (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and security management software (Genetec/CityWatch)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in high-pressure situations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with conflict resolution expertise
- Flexible availability to cover overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Pass extensive background check and drug screening
