Responsibilities
- Threat Monitoring: Analyze security alerts and events from SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) to detect and respond to cyber threats 24/7.
- Incident Response: Conduct thorough investigations into security anomalies and escalate critical incidents to senior analysts.
- Ticket Management: Prioritize and manage security tickets within the Service Desk system to ensure rapid resolution.
- Compliance: Ensure all security protocols and regulatory standards are met during the night operations.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and detailed reports on security events and incident resolutions.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or related technical role.
- Tools: Proficiency with SIEM tools, log analysis, and basic networking concepts.
- Schedule: Must be available to work the Night Shift (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) on a rotational schedule.
- Certifications: Security+, CEH, or CISSP certification preferred.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for ticketing and reporting.
