Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues for internal employees.
- Ticket Management: Log and prioritize help desk tickets using Zendesk or ServiceNow, ensuring a high first-contact resolution rate.
- Remote Support: Provide remote technical assistance via VPN, TeamViewer, and remote desktop tools.
- Hardware Support: Manage the lifecycle of end-user devices, including deployment, maintenance, and disposal.
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for technical inquiries during the night shift, providing clear and concise updates.
- Security Compliance: Assist in enforcing IT security policies and ensuring workstations are compliant with company standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT Help Desk or Technical Support.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work nights (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM or 11 PM - 7 AM).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
