In this role, you will be the first line of defense for our enterprise infrastructure, ensuring that critical systems remain operational 24/7. You will provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot complex issues, and maintain a secure IT environment during off-hours.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and troubleshoot server infrastructure, network connectivity, and hardware peripherals.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support via phone and ticketing systems for end-users.
- Execute routine system patches, updates, and backups during scheduled maintenance windows.
- Manage user access rights, reset passwords, and configure security settings.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to ensure seamless handover of critical tickets.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a night shift capacity.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
