Responsibilities
- Perform clinical assessments and vital sign measurements
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain medical supplies inventory
- Assist with electronic health record documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- New York State medical assistant license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
