Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care support during weekend shifts (6 AM - 6 PM)
- Assist with patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical documentation
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and infection control protocols
- Support patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient record management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience (weekend shift experience a plus)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license and reliable transportation
