Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and chat to resolve hardware and software issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems and printer malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all support tickets and resolutions.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new user workstations and peripherals.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to escalate complex issues and learn advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to discuss recurring technical challenges and process improvements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and software applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment.
- Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems is a plus but not required.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and obtain relevant IT certifications.
