Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments from trucks and conveyors.
- Inventory Management: Accurately pick, pack, and stage products using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for damage and ensure proper labeling and documentation.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other departments to resolve logistical issues.
- Shipping Preparation: Prepare packages for shipment according to carrier specifications.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Equipment: Forklift certification is preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety protocols.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends if necessary.
