Responsibilities
- Manage 15+ night shift personnel, coordinating daily workflow and performance metrics
- Oversee high-value cargo handling with zero-error protocols
- Implement safety compliance across all operational activities
- Conduct shift handovers with meticulous documentation
- Optimize inventory management systems during off-peak hours
- Resolve operational escalations with minimal disruption
- Train staff on new equipment and process improvements
- Generate performance reports for executive review
Qualifications
- 3+ years logistics/supervisory experience in night operations
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficiency in WMS and inventory management software
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and navigate warehouse environments
- Strong conflict resolution and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work 11 PM - 7 AM with weekend rotations
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain preferred
- Valid NY driver's license required
