Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-availability microservices using AWS and Kubernetes
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews
- Optimize system performance to handle 10k+ transactions per second
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party financial systems
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Terraform
- Conduct root cause analysis for production incidents
- Collaborate with Product teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend development with Java/Python
- Expertise in cloud architecture (AWS/GCP) and containerization
- Proven track record of shipping scalable fintech products
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices
