Responsibilities
- Provide tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and maintain IT inventory, including asset tracking and procurement.
- Configure and deploy new workstations and peripherals for employees.
- Monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with the IT manager to implement security patches and updates.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related technical field.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and support a 24/7 operational environment.
