Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, incorporating emerging technologies and societal trends
- Lead scenario planning workshops across global R&D centers to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop quantitative models to forecast technological adoption curves and market inflection points
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and investment decisions
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers, keynotes, and patent submissions
- Manage cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent professional certification
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology roadmapping
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, biotech, AGI) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with predictive modeling tools (e.g., Palisade @Risk, Trendalyzer)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or strategic foresight projects
