Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and execute strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Champion cross-functional R&D initiatives for emerging tech domains (AI ethics, bio-integration, climate tech)
- Present visionary scenarios to stakeholders and translate foresight into product/service roadmaps
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation through rapid prototyping and pilot programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or technology leadership with Fortune 500/tech scale
- Proven track record of forecasting market trends and translating insights into commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: Generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, or climate innovation
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical field
- Published thought leadership in innovation or foresight publications
- Experience leading cross-continental teams and complex stakeholder ecosystems
