Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying disruptive technologies with 10-year market impact
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum interfaces, AR metaverses, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, space tech, and neurotechnology sectors
- Partner with venture capital arms to scout and integrate emerging startups into our ecosystem
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive board and key stakeholders
- Drive adoption of agile innovation methodologies for long-term R&D initiatives
- Mentor specialists in emerging domains while fostering a culture of calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or emerging tech leadership roles
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products with 5+ years ahead of curve
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and technology adoption lifecycles
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AR/VR, and decentralized systems
- Experience scaling innovation labs from concept to commercialization
- Strong network within Silicon Valley venture capital and research institutions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Prior experience mentoring cross-disciplinary technical teams
