Responsibilities
- Anticipate global tech/societal trends through horizon scanning and scenario modeling
- Develop 2026 innovation roadmaps with quantified impact assessments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Partner with product teams to embed future-proofing in product lifecycles
- Author thought leadership for industry conferences and white papers
- Advise on ethical implications of emerging technologies (AI governance, neurotech)
- Build ecosystem partnerships with research institutions and policy bodies
Qualifications
- 7+ years in innovation strategy, futures research, or tech foresight
- Proven track record in translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, climate tech
- Strong analytical skills with systems thinking and scenario planning
- Exceptional communication for executive audiences and technical teams
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovations
