Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate tech) to forecast market disruptions through 2030
- Design innovation frameworks that align emerging technologies with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to generate and prioritize future-focused initiatives
- Develop scenario-planning models for 2026 market conditions and consumer behaviors
- Produce actionable foresight reports for executive decision-making
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proofing into development cycles
- Represent FutureWorks at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology assessment
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented innovation strategies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFTE, APF) preferred
