Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology and market trend forecasts using advanced data analytics and scenario modeling
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and Board of Directors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry disruptors
- Design and implement horizon scanning frameworks to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities
- Oversee the development of an internal innovation incubator focused on 2026+ technologies
- Create thought leadership content through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry publications
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic innovation, consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies: quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Exceptional data visualization and storytelling skills with complex datasets
- Deep network within Silicon Valley and global innovation ecosystems
- Published author or frequent speaker at futurism conferences (e.g., Singularity Summit, WEF)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies: Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Cross-Impact Matrices
