Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market forecasts and emerging trends
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AI ethics frameworks)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive technologies post-2025
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate technology strategy with business objectives
- Drive innovation through hackathons, patent development, and industry thought leadership
- Establish ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused resource allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with proven experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology
- Expertise in at least three future-tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech strategy implementation (minimum 3 case studies)
- Certifications in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or Technology Foresight
- Experience scaling tech teams from 10 to 100+ professionals
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or industry journals
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java preferred)
