- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 market potential
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proof methodologies
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging tech trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrable impact on future-focused initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations from concept to market
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Published research in peer-reviewed tech journals (IEEE, ACM, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in R&D funding
- Fluency in strategic modeling tools (STEEP, Delphi, Scenario Planning)
