Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026+ market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, sustainable tech) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate technological capabilities into innovative product concepts
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers to accelerate R&D
- Analyze competitive landscapes and regulatory impacts to inform technology adoption strategies
- Present complex technological concepts to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation within the technology division
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing and implementing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technological scenarios
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)

- Certification in technology foresight or strategic innovation management (e.g., Foresight Professional)
