Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) to inform strategic planning
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast industry shifts and competitive threats
- Establish KPIs for innovation initiatives and monitor progress against strategic milestones
- Build partnerships with research institutions and startups for early technology adoption
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio allocation across emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Proven track record in identifying and scaling disruptive technologies
- Expertise in future forecasting methodologies (scenario planning, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Certifications in innovation management or strategic foresight (preferred)
