Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional research initiatives in emerging fields (quantum AI, neural interfaces, decentralized systems)
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate futuristic technologies into product roadmaps
- Analyze global tech patents and academic breakthroughs to identify innovation opportunities
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports
- Manage a portfolio of experimental projects with $5M+ annual R&D budgets
- Mentor junior researchers and foster a culture of bold innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership within Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Proven track record launching products with emerging technologies (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic chips)
