Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to forecast industry disruptions through 2026+
- Develop and implement 5-year technology innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future products and services
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing concepts
- Monitor global tech policy/regulatory shifts affecting our innovation strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or corporate innovation roles
- Proven track record of developing multi-year tech roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Executive-level presentation and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience with scenario planning and futures methodologies
- Published thought leadership on technology trends (preferred)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business impact narratives
