Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps for 2026+ horizon, aligning with market trends and business objectives
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, Web3) for strategic implementation
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and design teams
- Conduct competitive landscape analysis and patent intelligence to capture first-mover advantages
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and manage partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry consortia
- Design and oversee proof-of-concept projects for breakthrough technologies
- Establish KPIs for innovation ROI and track technology adoption metrics
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or Business Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least 3 market-defining technologies
- Expertise in emerging tech trends: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, decentralized systems
- Exceptional strategic thinking with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Experience leading enterprise-level transformation initiatives ($10M+ budgets)
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech ecosystem and academic institutions
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
