Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 3-year technology strategy aligned with 2026 market forecasts and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in researching and evaluating emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration)
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech innovators
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors with compelling data-driven insights
- Monitor global tech trends and regulatory shifts to ensure proactive compliance and innovation
- Manage innovation budgets and ROI projections for experimental technology initiatives
- Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of technological curiosity and ethical innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough technologies to market
- Expertise in emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum computing, IoT, or blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Strong financial acumen with experience in tech budgeting and ROI modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology strategy implementations
