Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) with disruptive potential
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype futuristic solutions
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscaping in emerging tech domains
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Manage vendor partnerships and academic collaborations for R&D acceleration
- Forecast technology adoption curves and ROI projections for emerging innovations
Qualifications
- 8+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record of launching at least 2 breakthrough tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least one future-tech domain (quantum computing, AI, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Executive presence and ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Technology preferred
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or future studies (bonus)
