- Identify and evaluate partnership opportunities with startups, research institutions, and industry leaders
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage innovation portfolio including R&D investments, pilot programs, and experimental projects
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop compliance frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of forecasting technology trends and translating them into business value
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, or biotech)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize diverse data sources into actionable insights
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., CTS, CDMP) preferred
