Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology) to identify strategic opportunities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market forecasts and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating breakthrough solutions
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for technology scouting
- Create executive-level briefings on technology disruption risks and opportunities
- Manage innovation pipeline from concept to pilot deployment
- Represent company at global technology summits and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech products/solutions
- Expertise in technology forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related quantitative field
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystem (VCs, startups, research institutions)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their business implications
- Certification in technology management or innovation management preferred
