Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI, etc.) for strategic implementation
- Develop and maintain a 5-year technology foresight roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead innovation sprints and hackathons to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and manage an external ecosystem of tech pioneers, startups, and academic institutions
- Oversee the development of patent portfolios and IP protection for emerging innovations
- Establish metrics to measure the ROI of future technology investments
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with direct experience in emerging tech adoption
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Proven track record of launching at least two breakthrough tech initiatives
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or futurism
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFM, CFP)
