Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 industry disruption forecasts
- Lead discovery of emerging technologies through academic partnerships and startup scouting
- Architect implementation frameworks for quantum computing and AI-integrated systems
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board members
- Manage $2M+ innovation budgets for pilot programs
- Collaborate with R&D teams on prototype development and testing
- Monitor regulatory landscapes for emerging tech policies
- Represent company at global tech summits (Web Summit, CES)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation management
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record scaling disruptive technologies from concept to market
- Expertise in AI, blockchain, or quantum computing ecosystems
- Experience managing cross-functional teams of 15+ professionals
- Published research or patents in emerging technologies
- Strong financial modeling skills for tech investment analysis
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning)
