Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (2026+) to identify market opportunities and competitive threats
- Develop strategic roadmaps for next-gen products in AI, blockchain, and biotech integration
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical teams on innovation priorities
- Partner with VCs and academic institutions to scout breakthrough technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and board members
- Monitor ethical implications of emerging technologies and develop governance frameworks
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-focused allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic tech planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in launching commercialized emerging tech products
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or carbon-negative tech
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Strong network with tech incubators and federal research agencies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audience experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful tech commercialization strategies
