Responsibilities
- Lead strategic planning for emerging technologies with 5-10 year implementation horizons
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to align tech innovation with business objectives
- Research and evaluate breakthrough technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability
- Develop comprehensive roadmaps for tech integration across global operations
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders and investors
- Monitor regulatory landscapes and ethical implications of emerging tech
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in emerging technology commercialization
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Exceptional analytical and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience presenting to executive boards and investors
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CDT)
