Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligning with market evolution for 2026
- Lead R&D initiatives in emerging fields like generative AI and neurotech
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-tech into business strategy
- Identify and mitigate technological disruption risks across industries
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation engineers
- Present strategic visions to investors and industry thought leaders
- Drive patent development for breakthrough technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or sustainable tech
- Experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation
- Strong background in cross-functional team leadership
- Strategic consulting or corporate innovation experience
