Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen human-machine interfaces
- Conduct scenario planning for emerging tech disruptions (2030-2040 horizon)
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Partner with governments on policy frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Drive innovation sprints with DARPA and NASA collaborators
- Curate annual Tech Horizons Summit featuring 2026 technology forecasts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of scaling tech innovations from concept to market
- PhD in relevant field or equivalent demonstrable breakthrough work
- Published research in Nature/Science or top-tier tech conferences
- Experience with UN Sustainable Development Goal alignment frameworks
- Security clearance for federal tech initiatives (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python/R/Go preferred)
