Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and business objectives
- Lead competitive analysis and scenario planning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3 infrastructure)
- Partner with engineering teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish KPIs to track innovation adoption and ROI for future-tech initiatives
- Build and manage a cross-functional innovation taskforce
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning or innovation leadership
- Expertise in forecasting technology trends and market disruption
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps (5+ years)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, biotech)
- Experience presenting to C-suite and boards
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism
- Fluency in scenario planning and risk modeling methodologies
