Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technical Roadmap: Lead the strategic planning for system architecture that will scale through the 2026 timeframe and beyond.
- Design Future-Proof Systems: Build highly resilient, cloud-native microservices capable of handling exponential data growth.
- Pilot Next-Gen Tech: Research and implement emerging technologies (e.g., advanced neural interfaces, edge computing) in a sandbox environment.
- Architectural Governance: Establish strict coding standards and architectural patterns to ensure maintainability and security.
- Stakeholder Leadership: Communicate complex technical strategies to C-level executives and product teams to align on the 2026 vision.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in a Lead or Architect role.
- Core Skills: Deep expertise in Python, Java, or Go; extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS/GCP.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to think 5-10 years ahead regarding technology trends and market shifts.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex architectural challenges in high-pressure environments.
