Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, identifying high-impact technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional initiatives in quantum computing, biotech convergence, and AI ethics
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and venture capital firms
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive R&D resource allocation for next-gen prototyping
- Anticipate geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting 2026 tech ecosystems
- Mentor innovation fellows in emerging technology foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products (provide case studies)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-suite and investors
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Innovation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (e.g., from Singularity University)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ horizon-scanning frameworks implemented
