- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Present findings to C-suite and board members on quarterly technology impact assessments
- Mentor junior strategists in future-focused methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with proven 5+ year horizon planning experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics
- Published research on exponential technology trends (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Deep understanding of UN SDGs and technology's role in achieving 2030 targets
- Portfolio showcasing at least 3 commercialized future-tech concepts
- Proficiency in strategic foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, backcasting)
