Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1/2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and peripherals
- Document technical issues using our ticketing system and knowledge base
- Collaborate with senior engineers on system upgrades and security protocols
- Train end-users on new software implementations and best practices
- Monitor system performance and proactively address potential vulnerabilities
- Participate in cross-departmental IT initiatives and special projects
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS, networking fundamentals, and security principles
- Strong problem-solving abilities with customer service orientation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and remote support tools
- Valid CompTIA A+ certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional on-call support
