Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inspect shipments for damage and document any discrepancies immediately.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse floor to ensure a safe and efficient workflow.
- Prepare pallets and packages for shipping according to safety standards.
- Perform daily inventory counts and cycle counts accurately.
- Operate scanning equipment and computer systems to track inventory levels.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the New Orleans facility.
