Responsibilities
- Define and implement a comprehensive AI governance framework aligned with international standards (e.g., EU AI Act, IEEE).
- Lead cross-functional audits of machine learning models to identify and mitigate bias, fairness, and safety risks.
- Advocate for ethical AI principles within the engineering culture, integrating "Responsible AI" into the product lifecycle.
- Develop strategic roadmaps for AI compliance and explainability, ensuring transparency for stakeholders and regulators.
- Engage with external partners, policymakers, and academia to shape the ethical discourse in the AI community.
- Train and mentor internal teams on ethical decision-making processes in high-stakes AI deployments.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Philosophy, Law, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI ethics, compliance, or a related strategic leadership role within the tech industry.
- Deep understanding of machine learning concepts, data structures, and algorithmic decision-making.
- Proven track record of navigating complex regulatory landscapes and international standards bodies.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable policy.
- Demonstrated ability to influence organizational culture and drive change from the middle to senior levels.
