You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and executives to integrate ethical considerations into every stage of the AI lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AI ethics policies and frameworks aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct ethical risk assessments for AI projects and provide recommendations for mitigation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed ethical considerations in the AI development lifecycle.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and ethical challenges in AI and report to senior leadership.
- Lead initiatives to promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI systems.
- Engage with stakeholders, including customers, regulators, and the public, on AI ethics matters.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Ethics, Philosophy, Law, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in AI, data ethics, or a related field, with a focus on ethical frameworks.
- Strong understanding of AI technologies and their potential societal impacts.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide diverse teams.
- Experience developing and implementing ethical policies and governance frameworks.
- Knowledge of current AI regulations and standards (e.g., EU AI Act, NIST AI Framework).
- Proven ability to navigate complex ethical dilemmas and provide actionable guidance.
